Part of living missionally is about taking risk. John Piper says: “By removing eternal risk, Christ calls his people to continual temporal risk… When the threat of death becomes a door to paradise the final barrier to temporal risk is broken. When a Christian says from the heart, "To live is Christ and to die is gain," he is free to love no matter what.”
What risks are you taking?
How about the risks you aren’t taking? How can the group encourage you?
Living missionally also means leaving peaceably with all. In what areas of your life is there no peace? Why?
How do you see God wanting to use you in those areas to encourage peace through the gospel?
Read Hebrews 13:13-16 now as a group. Take time to discuss where God has shown you the need for Him in your community and how as a group we could start to pray for and move toward living missionally in those areas.
